What happens next

A person — not an algorithm — reads everything that comes in. We aim to get back to you within about seven days at the email you gave us. If it’s a yes, your piece goes live under the name you chose; if it’s a no, we’ll tell you plainly and kindly. You can ask us to take a piece down at any time — email hello@perotine.com and it’s offline within the hour.

Pen names are welcome; we never publish your real name, your email, or anyone else’s contact details. If you’re under 16, nothing is published until a parent or guardian confirms by clicking the link we send them.
